Welcome to DeyChop Foods By using our app, you agree to these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience.

  1. Use of the App

The app is designed for users to browse, order, and purchase food from a variety of vendors. By creating an account, you agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information, including your contact details and delivery address. Users must be at least 18 years old or have the permission of a parent or guardian to use the app.

  1. Placing Orders

Orders can be placed from any vendor listed on the app. Be sure to review your order details carefully before confirming. Once an order is confirmed, it cannot be modified. Cancellations may only be allowed if the vendor has not yet started preparing the order.

  1. Payments

Payments can be made via the app using credit/debit card or mobile wallet. No cash payment on delivery. Ensure your payment details are accurate and up to date. Failed or incomplete payments may result in order cancellation. We do not store your payment information; all transactions are processed through secure third-party providers.

  1. Delivery

Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to factors such as traffic, weather, high demand or availability of the food. You are responsible for providing an accurate delivery address and being available to receive your order.

  1. Refunds and Complaints

Refunds will be issued for unavailable or undelivered food, In such cases, contact our support team within 24 hours of not receiving your order. Complaints about food quality should be directed to our support team for investigation with the vendor. Delivery fees are non-refundable unless the issue is caused by us or the delivery service.

  1. User Conduct

Treat vendors, riders, and customer support staff with respect. Abusive or inappropriate behavior will result in account suspension. Do not use the app for illegal activities, fraudulent transactions, or sharing false information.

  1. Privacy and Data Protection

We respect your privacy and will only use your information to process orders, improve our services, and communicate with you. Your data will not be shared with third parties except as required for payment processing, delivery, or legal compliance.

  1. Liability

We strive to ensure quality food and timely delivery but are not liable for delays, errors, or dissatisfaction caused by vendors. DeyChop Foods is not responsible for any personal loss or damages arising from the use of the app.

  1. Account Suspension or Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate user accounts for violations of these terms, fraudulent activities, or misuse of the app. Users may delete their accounts at any time through the app or by contacting customer support.

  1. Updates to Terms

Vendor Terms & Condition

These terms and conditions govern the partnership between DeyChop Foods and your restaurant. By partnering with us to sell your food on our platform, you agree to the following terms

  1. Vendor Eligibility

Both registered and unregistered food businesses are welcome to join our platform, provided they meet our basic requirements for food safety, quality, and hygiene. Vendors must provide accurate business information, including menu details, operating hours, and contact information.

  1. Food Quality and Standards

All vendors, regardless of size, must adhere to strict hygiene and safety practices during food preparation, packaging, and storage. Food should always meet high-quality standards to provide customers with a satisfactory experience. Consistent negative feedback or complaints regarding food quality may result in suspension or removal from the platform.

  1. Menu and Pricing

Vendors are responsible for maintaining an accurate and up to date menu on our platform, including descriptions, prices, and availability. Pricing should be fair and competitive, reflecting the value of the products offered. Changes to menu items or pricing must be promptly updated through your vendor dashboard or by notifying our team.

  1. Order Fulfillment

Vendors must prepare and fulfill orders promptly to meet the delivery time promised to customers. Food must be securely packaged to maintain quality and prevent spillage or contamination during delivery. Delays or order cancellations should be minimized and reported to our support team immediately.

  1. Commission and Payments

We charge a commission fee for every order processed through our platform, with the percentage outlined in your vendor agreement. Vendor is given access to make withdrawal via mobile wallet or bank transfer at the end of each day minus the company’s charges. Any payment disputes must be reported within seven (7) days for resolution.

  1. Branding and Marketing

Vendors grant us permission to use their business name, menu, and images for promotional purposes on the platform and marketing channels. Participation in advertisements such as discounts or meal combo is encouraged to increase visibility and sales. Vendors must avoid false advertising or misrepresentation of their products.

  1. Customer Complaints and Refunds

Vendors are responsible for resolving customer complaints related to food quality, missing items, or incorrect orders. Refunds or compensation for errors will be deducted from your payout if deemed your responsibility after investigation.

  1. Compliance and Conduct

Vendors must follow all applicable health and safety guidelines, regardless of business registration status.
Professional conduct is expected at all times. Actions that harm our brand reputation, such as fraud, misuse of customer data, or poor service, will not be tolerated. Vendors must avoid practices like false reviews or price manipulation.

  1. Account Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for breaches of these terms, poor performance, or repeated customer complaints. Vendors may voluntarily deactivate their account by notifying us, ensuring all pending orders and payments are settled.

  1. Agreement and Modifications

By partnering with us, you agree to these terms and conditions in full. We may update these terms periodically, with changes communicated to you in advance. Continued use of the platform signifies acceptance of updated terms.

RIDERS TERMS AND CONDITIONS. 

  1. Registration and Onboarding

You must provide accurate and up-to-date personal information and vehicle details during registration on the DeyChop app. By registering on the app, you agree to comply with all company policies and guidelines.

  1. Responsibilities and Conduct

You are responsible for representing DeyChop professionally, maintaining a polite and respectful attitude toward customers, partners, and colleagues. Food must be handled with care to ensure quality upon delivery, and you are accountable for any negligence leading to damage or delays.

  1. Delivery Time 

You are expected to deliver orders within the time frame communicated to customers, using the most efficient routes. In the event of delays due to traffic, weather, or unforeseen circumstances, riders must notify the customer promptly.

  1. Safety and Vehicle Maintenance

You are required to follow all local traffic laws and regulations. You are solely responsible for the maintenance, roadworthiness, and legal compliance of your vehicle.

  1. Food Handling and Order Verification

You must verify that all items are included in the order before leaving the pickup location. Orders should be transported securely to prevent spillage, contamination, or damage during delivery.

  1. Payment and Financial Transactions

DeyChop Foods reserves the right to deduct or recover any amounts owed due to errors or differences. The money for every delivery made for the day is in your wallet and you have access to withdraw at the end of each day. On no account should you carry out any hand to hand transaction, if you do, you will face the penalty.

  1. Privacy and Confidentiality

You must maintain the confidentiality of customer information obtained through the app and use it solely for delivery purposes. Sharing or misuse of customer data will result in immediate termination of registration and possible legal action.

  1. Dress Code and Identification

You are encouraged to maintain a clean and professional appearance and carry valid identification at all times while on delivery duty and you must make use of any branding materials that will/might be given to you by DeyChop Foods. 

  1. Account Suspension and Termination

DeyChop reserves the right to suspend or terminate a your account for breaches of these terms and conditions, misconduct, or repeated customer complaints. You can voluntarily deregister from the app, provided all pending payments and issues are resolved beforehand.

  1. Liabilities and Disputes

You are solely responsible for any damages, fines, or legal issues arising from the use of your vehicle during deliveries. Any disputes or grievances should be reported to DeyChop for resolution. 

  1. Agreement and Compliance

By registering and using DeyChop app, riders agree to adhere to these terms and conditions. Failure to comply may result in penalties or removal from the platform.
